It kills me to do this, but for now, I will only share information about Rose Rosette Disease. I cannot recommend planting roses until a cure for this disease is found. It is in our area, and I have seen it on roses in wholesale and retail stock. I will be adding more information as I have time, but for now, here are some photos of some infected roses.
