Trim off any long stems with spent blooms.
If it's long and "woody", it has to go!
***It's especially important to trim these guys during the summer! It greatly increases their survival rate in out Texas heat!***
Here's what it will look like when you're done.
You can discard the trimmings or make more Ice Plants!
Use strong stems. The one on the right may be too weak.
Remove the lower leaves, revealing at least one node (area that the leave come out).
Use a pencil to create a hole in the soil. Potting soil or straight into the ground works with these guys.
There you go! Keep them moist, but not wet. Some may die, but it's okay because you'll have a ton of cuttings everytime you trim!
